What you will find on this page

“Join us” was the page through which the committee asked for support: institutions, associations and private citizens could declare that they backed the candidacy. The form that collected those declarations is no longer in service and does not appear on this page; what remains is the invitation itself — the way the campaign addressed the people it wanted on board.

That is exactly why the page is worth keeping. It says whom the committee thought it was talking to and what it asked of them, and that tone is a source in the same way a press release is. It does not say how many declarations arrived, or from whom: that figure is not in the surviving material and we do not reconstruct it.
