Videogallery (English)

This is the video index of the bid site. The clips were served by a player that is no longer in operation, and that player is not reproduced here: what remains is the index itself — which films the committee commissioned or chose, and how it described them.

That is less than it looks and more than nothing. The list shows what the campaign wanted shown in moving pictures, which is a different choice from the one it made in print. What it cannot give you is the footage. Where a file is gone, the entry stays visible rather than being quietly dropped, because an index that hides its own losses stops being an index. The written material survives in full in the archive of the candidacy, the sequence of events in the chronicle, and the places filmed are described in Milan and its territory.
